The story of Anne’s Patisserie

Anne and James’ history is based in the hospitality industry. Anne trained in hotel management and James as a chef.

For many years, they both worked around Great Britain in a number of fine hotels and restaurants before settling in North Wales just outside Mold.

They have always had a love of patisserie gained from their travels and a desire one day to own their own business.

So, in November 2003 after much deliberation they launched Anne’s Patisserie from their home. They firstly supplied local restaurants, pubs and hotels with their cakes and desserts and also made celebration cakes with in the local neighbourhood.

It wasn’t long before their cakes got recognised for their quality and consistency. Taking on clients further afield, delivering into the Conway Valley, South of Wrexham and Cheshire.

In 2005/6, Anne’s Patisserie received its first award, it was received from the Wales True Taste for its Cherry Bakewell tart. Which also went on to receive awards from Cheshire life and the British Great Taste awards.

Over the coming years, Anne’s patisserie continued to receive awards for their great tasting cakes and patisserie.

In 2007, Anne and James realised that they needed to move their business out of their home to enable them to expand their business. So in Early 2008 they secured the lease on a unit on the Manor Business Park in Bagillt nr Flint.

This much awaited move allowed them to pursue greater avenues in which to sell their amazing cakes. Taking them further into North Wales and Cheshire delivering their cakes to discerning clients.

Anne and James’s core foundations for their business is simple, deliver great tasting cakes with a friendly professional service.
